Storage spaces - Reliable or not ?

One of the few new things I would like to try out in Windows 8 is storage spaces.

Has anybody been using it for any length of time to give an opinion on whether its stable & reliable for day to day use or not, since there have been many horror stories about data being lost when using this new feature ?

 

Little early to tell isn't it?

 

I know it. That's why I need advice before plunging into it.

 

The final release of Windows 8 was made available to the general public three days ago. Is that enough "length of time " to determine whether or not it is "stable & reliable for day to day use "?

 

I am not asking general public here. I am asking people who are neck deep into it & follow the trends.

Some of us might have already tried it in preview or RC or even Win 2012. I want all the good and the bad experiences.

The Preview and Release Candidate are different versions. The bugs discovered in those were resolved before releasing the final version.
