I have switched to Outlook Express from Netscape. I do not want my email to open automatically,in Netscape it didn't open until I double clicked it. Now it is open the minute I click on new email. I checked in the options and there is not a check mark in the "automatically download message when viewing in preview pane ",so not sure why it is. Hope someone has the info on this. TIA

Do you want to disable the Preview Pane? If so, go to View - Layout. Or do you want to stop the automatic download of previewed items? If so, go to Tools - Options - Read.
