    Hi,

Does anyone here know how to stop Hotmail addresses from being added to OE6 as a result of using MSN Messenger. This is a bit annoying.

A Hotmail address is necessary to use Messenger but I have alternative addresses for many people I talk to via Messenger. I don't want their Hotmail addresses popping into my OE6 contact list.

If someone is over and uses Messenger on my PC, anyone they chat with ends up on my contact list. Once again, very annoying to have to manually delete these contacts. Need a way to stop this from happening.

    Thanx in advance,
    Randy

I dont use Messenger, but I would think that there is an option in Mess that "automatically add to contacts I reply to ". I know this is in OE. Maybe its tied to OE. In OE, its located, tools, options, send tab.

    got it!

    aleekat,

For goodness sake, you are SO right! I forgot all about that option in OE. Stands to reason.

If this doesn't do the trick, I'll be back. On the other hand, if it does, take my silence as testament that this was the answer I sought.

    Thanx
