When I insert a disk into my external zip drive, Windows Explorer pops up listing the contents of the disk. Can I stop that? Under AutoPlay for the zip drive I have all options set to "Take No Action ", but Windows Explorer still pops up. I want to put in a disk and have nothing happen.

It is relatively straightforward to disable autoplay completely for all drives - the methods differ between Pro and Home, the latter requiring a registry edit.

However I guess that you may not want to do that, so an alternative method, which may work for you is to download and install Tweak UI and go to My Computer > Autoplay > Drives and uncheck the drive letter for your Zip drive. Also go to the next subheading - Types and uncheck 'Enable Autoplay for removable drives'
