    Hello everyone,

Please and thanks to any and everyone's input. I am lost as to how to resolve this and calling Dell's Tech Support left me doing this instead of fixing the issue :-(

I keep getting a STOP / BSOD while doing random things, most recently, updating WoW on my hard drive.

    STOP: 0x000000F4 (0x00000003, 820c2020, 8aoc194, 805d13b6)

bryancoughlin - Welcome to the Board :)

I have moved your thread to the Windows XP forum where it belongs :)

A STOP: 0x000000F4 error is a little indeterminate
    Not overly helpful :D

The analysis of dump logs requires specialist knowledge, which I do not have :) and the one guy on the Board capable of doing this has not been around for a while. Nevertheless my observations are ....

The problem may well be audio related, probably codec related .....
    and
    and
The latter refer to Windows Media Player.

So you would appear to have an audio problem associated with, but not necessarily caused by Windows Media Player. More likely the problem lies in codecs that have been loaded - look at Replay AV 8 as the possible culprit. One or more files may be corrupted and I would uninstall the program and if that resolves the problem reinstall a fresh copy.

There are plenty of hits on Google for the codecs bolded above, for example ....
