I have looked up this error and seems it could be many possible things. Hardware or Software. Someone said memory. Taking a shot to see if anyone has experienced this. These are the worst...if anyone knows of a program which may capture any type of helpful stop error information I would greatly appreciate it. This machine take a *&^@# whenever it so chooses. I know it creates a .dmp file but it does me know good as I don't know what to use to open it. So annoying!!

    JJ,

There should be a corresponding 'error' message in the MMC (MicrosoftManagementConsole). Right click 'MyComputer', select 'Manage'. Then open 'Event Viewer' and there should be a related message under either 'Application' or 'System'. This may offer a clue as to what caused the error. It should have a 'red' icon next to the particular event, that should help keep you from having to look through all the messages. If you click the icon with the 'pages', that will copy the message to the clipboard and you can then paste it back here if you would like someone to look at it.
There are also a couple of members that are very good with 'dump' files... so hang on.

joezep1 - I AM NOT one of the folks Mr. B spoke of when he talked about our users who are good with dump file analysis but since I think they are tied up on another project right now and not able to spend much time on dump analysis, I do have a tool that does a pretty good job so if you could send me several of the files, I could see what turns up.

Probably need to stick to the mini-dump files if you want to attach and email me a couple. The full dumps are huge even when compressed so unless you have an ftp site you can push them to, I don't think those will be feasible right now.

The tool is loaded on my PC at work and the forum email routes to home so use the work email address shown in the picture. Please include the thread URL when you send the mini-dumps since otherwise I might not remember who had the problem and where to post the results.
