I am running Vista Home Premium and have an Iomega ZIP 750 usb drive attached to my machine - Dual core E6600 with 2GB memory. When I put a disk into the drive I get a screen asking if I want to view files, etc and then I get a BSOD with a 0x00000044 error. I have removed Iomegaware, which Iomega says is incompatible with Vista but still get the error. Could anyone assist?

    Hi John,
I'm surprised by that because my Zip drive is working OK, Vista used its own driver the first time I plugged it in. Try unplugging the drive, un-installing any USB devices in Device Manager, and re-boot with the ZIP drive plugged in. Vista should recognise it and install its own driver.
