    Hi koo49as.

As long as there are Windows XP drivers for the specific motherboard you are going to buy, then you should not have any issues. Windows XP does support Ivy Bridge setups but the real drawback is losing key features of Ivybridge, including CPU power management, USB 3.0, PCI-E 3.0, and higher memory bandwidth.

Windows XP doesn't seem to appreciate memory running higher than 1600 MHz so take note of the memory that you are installing.

    Thanks,

for basic only used (USB2.0. SATA2):

Ivy Bridge Processor, still can support XP. if Sandy Bridge, more better?

RAM: any brand, if choose =1600 MHz Clock Rate. better?

Getting an Ivy Bridge system will work and as far as brand of RAM is concerned, as long as the RAM is compatible with the motherboard and its 1600 MHz then you should be fine.
