    Still Having Problems

Yesterday when opening Outlook Express, the following screen popped up for the first time; any ideas why?

    Stimon
STIMON caused an invalid page default in module
    KERNEL32.dLL at 017f:bffac603.

I clicked to close the screen and then a screen came up that only allowed me to hit Ctrl Alt Delete and then the computer restarted.

    Hi J.R

Was just typing a document in Microsoft Word and the previous screen popped up that "the program had performed an illegal operation and would be shut down ", but I was able to save the document I had typed and then clicked on "close" and the popped up screen closed.

As my previous postings had said, the computer has totally been rebuilt: new motherboard, CDRM and hard drive and Windows 98 2d was Installed.

To correct ALL of my woes, I have been advised, being the computer has been rebuilt to buy and install Windows XP Home Edition Upgrade.

Appreciate any comments on any of the above.

About ready to throw the computer out.

    Hi J.R
Did the link I posted not work then?
As for choosing to upgrade to XP to solve your problems. I think you'll just end up with a newer O/S with the same problems. This sounds fixable to me?
