status bar

    My IE6 status bar is not consistantly showing. I open one browser window and it is there. Then I open another window, to find that it has no status bar, so I have to bring it manually (view > status bar).

    How can I make the status bar appearing, in all browser windows, as a default? I mean without having to show it manually from the menu.

    Close all IE windows. Right click on my computer. Select explore. Then select view, put a checkmark on "status bar ", close the window and reboot. That should set it..
