    OS is Windows 7

Around the end of June, I had to take the laptop into Best Buy due to a failed hard drive and it was under extended warranty. About a week ago when I tried to boot up, System Repair came up with the following message:
    StartUp Repair

Your Computer was unable to start
StartUp Repair is checking your system for problems...

I let System Rpair do its thing and then it will prompt me to do a System Restore. A few days later the same thing happens. This is the second time within 5 days this has happened. This is the third time overall that I had this problem.

I have McAfee installed and it did not detect anything.
I also use Malwarebytes and CCleaner neither of which has detected anyting out of the ordinary.

First thing I would do is backup what you need, then take it back to Worst Buy and tell them that you want another PC as you aren't playing games with this everytime you turn around.

    Mr Bill,

I'm taking it back to "Worst Buy" tomorrow.

Make sure you back up anything you need like Favorites and address book.

I brought the laptop to Best Buy last Friday. Today, Thursday, 10/11/2012, I got a call from them saying the hard drive was bad. They only have a 30 day warranty on the hard drive so I had to purchase another one. They said they will do the labor for free since I had just purchased that hard drive the end of June of this year.

Got to agree here. Most have at least 1 year and some even have 5 years.

I would go back and be nice and put my foot up somebody's butt.
