Startup error message: taskmanager.exe missing with green.exe

Hi,
Well, I have the same problem. I was looking around for a solution, but nothing helped me. Anyway, this started two weeks ago, with an error message like green.exe is missing, each time I was booting. This message has just disappered and now it is replaced by taskmanger.exe is missing. Moreover, just next to "taskmanger.exe is missing ", I get some other kind of error message, like "the program ebdkwr.exe is not responding and must close, sent a report to microsoft "!

The green.exe, taskmanger.exe, ebdkwr.exe are in C:\Windows\prefetch, I can delete them, but I still have the two messages.
So, if you have a solution...thank you very much.

I split your post off of the other thread to prevent confusion in the future.

Those files in the Prefetch folder will keep reappearing, and deleting them from there does nothing to help you at this point.
Please follow the instructions on this thread.

Then post a HijackThis log onto here. Be sure to unzip into it's own folder before letting it 'Do a System Scan and create a log'.
