While booting up, I get shown a choice. It says:

    Microsoft Window 2000 Professional
    Microsoft Windows

The 1st one is always highlighted. I always use 2000 PRO. Where can I go in the program and delete out the 2nd one, so it can start quicker and automatically. Did it before, but can't remember.

    Thanks

    C:\boot.ini file
Open with notepad change timeout value to zero "0 "

There is a graphical place to do it also but it's been so long I don't remember.

    I believe you want...

    1) Right-click "My Computer" and choose "Properties "
    2) Select "Advanced" tab...Click the "Startup and Recovery" button
    3) Make your selections from the Default Operating System drop-down, and the "Display the list of operating systems for X seconds" box, which shows 30 seconds by default. Change the default to a time you prefer...
