Recently I have been trying to network my roommates computers and mine (we share a cable modem via a router). Since I began doing this I now have a problem when starting my computer that I think is related to the networking. When I restart my computer I get the message:
"Cannot find a device file that may be needed to run Windows or a Windows application.

The system registry or SYSTEM.INI file refers to this device file, but the device file no longer exists.

If you deleted this file on purpose, try uninstalling the associated application using its uninstall or setup program.

If you still want to use the application associated with this device file, try reinstalling that application to replace the missing file.

The problem is that I don't know exactly which "application" this file is associated with. Does anyone recognize this file type? Any help or comments would be appreciated. Thanks.
