Start up password

    Staart up password

    Have two units with W2000 Professional, was trying to link them via direct cable. Driver software on the one prevented hook up. Now when after I reboo it asks for a password (user Admin). Problem I have never used a password to log on any of my computers. Also I can not re-install 2000 on this computer.

    Regarding start up password

    Really enjoy the forum. I am happy to report I was able to figure out how to fix my problem. I took the HD from the affected computer and made it a slave to the other. Then I was able to go in and delete the password.
