I just upgraded to the latest version of Zone Alarm (free), and went ahead and added Star Downloader (my download manager) to my list of programs that are allowed to access the internet, but when I try to download anything now, it keeps defaulting to Firefox's default downloader. Star Downloader was working fine under the last version of ZA, so I know it's not a Firefox integration problem or anything. Any suggestions, anyone?
    Thanks!

Rerun the program access wizard. It sounds like it forgot to leave the port open for star downloader.

Thanks for the reply, Pete! I didn't know how to do what you suggested, but you at least got me browsing in the right section of the help file, and Star Downloader seems to be working fine now.
For the sake of completeness, here's the solution that worked for me:
When I first experimented with downloading (after installing the new version of ZA), Star Downloader didn't open up (the computer defaulted to the Firefox browser) - so I manually added the program to Zone Alarm's "allow" list.
Following a recommendation under "Setting permission for specific programs" in ZA's help section, I deleted Star Downloader from the "allow" list, then opened the program (Star Downloader), and when I was asked by ZA whether or not to allow it, I clicked on "allow ". And all has been well since. :)
    Thanks again!
