    Hello everyone,

After removing a bunch of stuff from our computer, basically getting rid of old programs no longer being used, I am getting an error message on start up.

It is SQL Writer: SQLDUMPER library failed intialization. Your installation is either corrupt or has been tampered with. Please uninstall then re-run setup to correct this problem.

Not sure what it wants me to uninstall and re-rum setup.

Anybody know an easy way to fix this?

    Thanks in advance!!! Mark

Have you recently renamed your computer? If you have, you may need to reinstall the software as a quick resolution. Otherwise change your computer name back.

Thanks for the reply.... I did not rename the computer, just deleted a bunch of unused programs. I do not even know what the names of all the programs I removed are. I just went through the "Add/Remove" Programs and got rid of the ones that were not being used.

    Thanks, Mark

Apparently one of your existing programs requires SQL Writer to be installed. Search around on the net for answers.

Click on Start->Run and type: msconfig

Look in the start up tab for any items referrencing SQL and uncheck it.
