SQL Writer error

    I have a 5 year old Dell with XP that I am trying to clean up for my dauhter to use. I went into control panel and removed programs that I thought were slowing down the laptop, and that she would not need or use.

    now on start up I get the SQL Writer window that says "SQLDUMPER library failed initialization. Your installation is either corrupt or has been tampered with. Please uninstall then re-run setup to correct this problem. "

    When I click OK all is fine.

    What do I do to remove this SQL?

    Click on START->Run and type MSCONFIG

    Look in the startup tab for anything that references SQL and uncheck it.

    Hi ceyermann.

    Please download and run Autoruns. After you download the zipped folder on your desktop, right click the zipped folder and click Extract All. After the folder has been extracted open the regular folder. Run the autoruns.exe program by double clicking on it. When you open the program click the Logon Tab and then post a screenshot of the Logon Tab in your next reply.
