I got the new version of Spybot with the Immunization feature that can actively block bad stuff. Could this potentially conflict with Adwatch? Which is better between the 2, so I can know which one to disable?

Shadowhawk--Interesting about the new Immunization feature. Another thread on this BBS reported that Spybot is recommending SpywareBlaster to stop spyware from downloading.

I believe AdWatch from Lavasoft (and which comes only with the paid versions of As-Aware) alerts you when spyware has downloaded, but does not stop it.

Has anyone used SpywareBlaster? Does it work well? Any crashes or BSODs? Does it block popups?

OK I have it installed. As long as I have protection enabled, I don't need to actually have the program itself running in the background, right? How often should I look for updates?
