Does anybody know what this is:
spoolsv.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows you will need to restart the program.

It's a windows 2000 printing subsystem file, and that error can occur with damaged or incompatible printer drivers. Do a search in the Microsoft Knowledge Base on the term "spoolsv.exe" and it will fetch a number of articles, among them some describing your particular error message. Registry edits likely will be required, so if you're not familiar with the process, best to find a knowledgeable friend to help you.
