splash screen

    using win98, when windows starts I get an annoying splash
    screen from one of the programs that load ,and i don't want to disable this program,and there does not appear to be an option
    on this splash screen any ideas how I might stop it,it appears
    just before windows password/login box...rodger

    Which program is it? There are known fixes for some programs like Zonealarm...

    :) well it cequadrate its a cdw-cdr software that came with the cdrw that I put in...it works ok its just would prefer the splash screen didn't appear....rodger

    You can try editing the shortcut.

    At the end of the target line add a space and "nosplash" without the quotes.
