i seem to have lost (or inadverdently deleted) the spelling and grammar check. when i click the icon a message reads - word cannot find grammar file msgrEN32.dll for english (united states).
i have checked Tools-Options-spelling and grammar dialogue box, all seems correct there. can anyone explain how i can reinstate it.
    cheers.

The msgrEN32.dll file is usually found in <Drive>:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Proof (where <Drive> is the letter of the drive where Office is installed, usually C).

Extract a new copy of that file from your Office CD (or Word CD or Works CD, whichever you have) and let it overwrite the old one, which may solve the problem. Or you can just reinstall Word to get a new copy of the file into place, which might be the easiest way to go.
