Resolved Speedy PC Pro

    I Installed Speedy PC Pro today to help me solve error problem 0x800ccc0e. After scanning my pc it found 4,223 errors and advised that I register the program for them to correct the errors. I filled in the few questions on the register page, but there was NO register button to click to send the info to them.

    Also, I am not able to receive any incoming emails as the error note keeps showing up. Upon calling my ISP they said that they are having a serious problem with sending emails and they don't know when it would be resolved.

    I have already uninstalled Speedy PC Pro as I was unable to contact them.

    Has anyone ever had any dealings with them and can vouch that they are a reliable company?

    No I have not dealt with that company and will not vouch for them because they are scammers who are trying to steal your money.

    That Speedy PC Pro program is a complete scam and you should not pay or use that program under any circumstances.

    This should have been your first clue that this program was a scam. Any registry cleaner finding that many registry errors and then trying to scare you into buying it, is shady and you should not trust companies that participate in this type of behavior.

    Take a look here at the reputation for the website, speedypc.com.

    What are you using for an e-mail program? Outlook, OE, WLM or some other program?

    Thank you folks for responding so promptly. I use outlook Express... used to use Spybot Search and Destroy on my former PC and loved it. My virus program for the last 2 years has been Microsoft Security Essentials and it seems to be pretty good. My ISP has corrected the email situation.

    I had strongly suspected that Speedy Pro was a scam that is why I uninstalled it even before I requested your hellp. Thanks again.
