Sparky 2000

A friend of mine uses W98 with a DOS program called Sparky 2000.He keeps getting a system 5 error.Does anyone know anything about this program?The makers of it are no longer in business.Tried searching the web and could not find anything.He has used it for years with no problems.

The first solution they suggest will probably do the trick.Microsoft says he needs an update and from the way they describe the problem it matchs his to a T.He is not big on updates.I will try an get him to do it with in the next couple of days.I will post back with the results.

He tried the work arounds that Microsoft suggested and it seams to be doing the trick.For some unknown reason he does not want to update W98.I think he is convinced it will cause more problems then it will cure.Personaly I have had only a few minor problems with an up date.(more an annoyance then anything)Thank you for the quick response.
