    Hello,
This is my first post here, so, please bear with me.

I am using Windows XP Home Edition with Service Pack 2 and all upgrades installed but I am not smart enough to roll them back to see if this is the problem. Several say that they cannot be removed or rolled back. This was tried in the "Add or Remove Programs" Folder.

My computer is an approximately 6 month old HP Pavillion with an AMD 64 processor and 1 gigabyte of memory which incidentally is also being hogged by something and the machine has become very slow.

I am typing this on MS Works, cutting and pasting to post this as I am having a problem that I can find NO other mention of anywhere.

All was well and good until two or three days ago. I started having problems with my e-mail using Outlook Express 6, Internet Explorer or Easy Mail. I can’t use the space key in any part of these programs. It makes no difference where in the programs I need to add a space it just will not do so. The only solution so far, is to copy and paste an existing space or use a word processor then cut and paste the document.

I am using Norton Internet Security-2004, Spyware Killer, A Squared, Spyware Doctor, AVG anti-virus, Bug Doctor, Microsoft Anti-spyware and others. None can find a problem.

I have rebooted several times and pulled the plug twice allowing the beast to sit for five minutes each time also.

Is this a "need to remove and reinstall" issue?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Bill K
