SP3 Hanging up during down load

    Hi

    I have XP pro with SP2. I tried to down load the new SP 3 it gets about 3/4 of the way through the install and just stops. No errors reported just hangs up. I did just get running again after a nasty Mal virus. The PC is fine no other problems to report other than can't get through the download.

    How are you downloading SP3 ? Through Windows Update or directly ?

    Direct download is preferable & you can save SP3 for later use as well.
