Java will not work anymore on this machine after installing SP2 (not supported)
I've removed, reloaded, etc. No luck
    Any ideas?

In Internet Explorer, go to Tools>Internet Options>Security tab>Custom Level button, scroll down to the Java section and make sure it isn't disabled. Then on down under Scripting, make sure Java isn't disabled there.

Then on the Advanced tab, look for any references to Java to make sure the appropriate boxes are checked.

Not sure whether it was SP2 or AutoPatcher, but one of them removed my MS Java. I reinstalled it and updated it with WU. All is fixed. :)
