I'm running a Dell with XP, Celeron 2.5 gHz, 768mb RAM. About a year ago I installed SP2 and noticed that it ran REAL slow. I mean unbelievably slow. I took a minute for the start menu to come up after clicking. Restarting and waiting held no solution so I removed SP2. Recently I upgraded the RAM from 256 to 768 and tried it again to no avail. Any ideas.

For drivers, I suggest you go to the Dell website, www.dell.com/support and input the Service Tag number, that will list the original hardware configuration. Update the drivers starting with the chipset drivers, then graphics, then audio, then any others.
