I have d/l MS's critical update SP 3 and all went well.
But after re-booting and going to Add/Remove app. I find that I do not have the option to stop IE, Windows Media Player, etc. from being default programs. Anyone have any ideas what went wrong and how do I get this option installed?
    Thanks,

    Thanks for your reply.
Checked for Set program Access and Defaults,
cannot find it anywhere on my PC.
Any other suggestions would be helpful.
I have heard Micosoft offers it as a stand-alone App
but in searching MS web site I could not find it.
    Will continue my search.

Is this a server? If so, I don't believe MS included that patch with there server products. They were required to do so with their desktop OS's only.
