I have an email friend who uses Netscape for her email. She can forward a message with background music but she never hears it. I know nothing about Netscape, but surely there is some setting that would allow her to hear background music.

To hear background music in an html e-mail or on webpages that use the "embed" tag she will need to have a plugin (a .dll file) that recognizes <EMBED> for example, Netscape Communicator's full install includes the Netscape LiveAudio (multimedia plugin) npaudio.dll. If she has no plugin for embedded sound then she will need to get one. This is from

Thank you for your reply. That at least gives me something to pursue. I'm not sure what version of Netscape she is using, but I can go from here.
