Sound driver enabled but no start

    I got a problem after installing a Creative Live sound card on XP,

    INstalled the correct drivers, correct settings and all hardware is ok. Again this is MS telling me this.

    Now if i look a the properties i see, driver ok, driver enabled but has ot started.

    How do i get it to start>>>>>:mad:
    How do i survive these stupid messages :confused:

    Please anyone.

    No start meaning no sound in speakers?

    Speakers plugged into right place? I first tried mine in the mike input because my old eyes couldn't see the speaker symbols stamped into the back of the sound card.

    What stupid messages are you speaking of?
