    Hello again,

Can anybody set me onto the right track to sort bookmarks in Netscape? I want to sort all the folders from A to Z and do the same for the contents of each folder.

For the life of me, I cannot achieve these aims. I'm attempting to use A > Z command under Bookmarks/Manage Bookmarks/ View.

Currently Sort By Name is enabled but I've tried all. I've tried highlighting. I've given up.

    Thanks.

The only way I know of is the drag and drop method.

    Hi Welt,

The Sort doesn't work in Netscape 7. There are some 370+ bugs filed on Bookmarks, many of which relate to the Sort feature.

The Bookmark component is being redeveloped from scratch, so hopefully we may be able to sort our Bookmarks somewhere down the road.

Your best bet is to place your Bookmark where you want it, once it has been added. "Unsorted" must be selected in the View drop down menu in order to drag and drop.

    Thanks Ramona,

Guess I'll stay with my oxen 'til the team of Belgians is adequately trained.

Drag and drop or cut and paste is it.
