Sony Vaio error: Could not add the requested component 0x800700C1

    Hi, I have a Sony Vaio Desktop running winxp home sp3. 512mb ram, recently I tried to install a driver ( RASPPPOE ) on my network drive and I get the message : Could not add the requested component the error is 0x800700C1 . Can someone tell me exactly what this error message means ? I searched the Microsoft website but did not find any info. Thanks for your help,hdb
