    Hi-

Last year I did a complete clean install of Windows 98 and until now everything seemed fine. When I tried to run a new graphics program I purchased I needed to check the screen resolution as part of a troubleshooting process and discovered that the highest resolution I can get now is 800 x 600. My card is 1024 capable and so is my monitor, but no matter what I do I can't get that setting back in the display options. I had it before we completely cleaned the system and started over, but now no matter what changes I make I can't get the option back.

I checked my drivers and they are the most current available.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thank you.

    bit by bit

Have you changed the "BIT "? Some cards will not let ya go up the rez scale if not compatible. Example: an old ATI 8mb will not go higher then 16 bit @ 800X600 & my old MGA 16 will go 24 bit @ 800X600 but no higher. So 16, 24 or 32 bit has limits too. Try 16 bit w/1024X instead of 24 or 32 bit:)
