I'm running Mozilla Firebird 0.7 as my primary browser ... but I occasionally have to resort back to IE because there are some sites that will not work with Mozilla.

These are always member sites that need a login.
They'll let me set up a login account and activate it, but when I try to login it won't let me.
Usually it complains about cookies not being enabled ... (they are of course)

I've been able to get around this sometimes by entering the site into the cookies Exception list and setting it to "allow ".
But some sites just will not work with Mozilla.

Hotmail is one of the sites I'm having this problem with.

Has anybody had this problem before ?

    thanks

Try upgrading your Mozilla Firebird to Firefox 0.9.2. Has a few nice extra toys added to it like a popup stopper.

Since Firbird resides in it's own folder you should be able to run both browsers without any issues.

Have you ever tried NS7.1 or one of the Mozillas? The answer is yes, even with sites, who allegedly are supporting NS7.1 or Mozilla. I would consider going for the latest Firesomething (the bird has turne in a fox), but you will have to get a new profile.
Whaever, I wasted an incredible amount of time in such situations.

    Kent,

I installed Firefox, but it has some annoying little quirks.

Westside ... the install of Firefox was seemless.
It took all of the profile info from Firebird.

Less than an hour ... and I had a new "working" browser.
