Sometimes when I want to compose a letter, and I click the compose button, I get a screen that looks right but it is not possible for me to type anything on the page or in any fields. The areas for entering addressess are greyed out. Anyone know what my problem is or what I do not understand.
Also, when I send an e-mail requesting a receipt under "options ", it does not seem to work. I sent a letter to myself and should have received a popup box asking me to inform the sender that I had received the e-mail but there is no popup and I don't receive a receipt that the letter was opened. Are these bugs?
    Thanks for your help.

    Bob,

Yes, you are experiencing SeaMonkey Bugs! See the Release Notes for more information: Mail & Newsgroups - Known Issues

You might want to check these bugs for your return receipt problems: Bug List

Interestingly, I have no problem, in mail with SM1.1. I will keep checking it, as well as SM1.0.7.
After thorough checking I find that I can compose and send mail with 1.0.7 and 1.1. However, I got return receipt only in 1.0.7. I, never, tried before to use Return Receipt, so it is no big deal.
