    [FONT= "Arial"][SIZE= "2"]I have been experiencing some unusual problems in my IE 6 browser. I create web sites in Front page but I have determined that the problem isn't with the Front Page. When I preview the pages in Front Page I can see all the images, even the ones that are created with links. When I copy and paste it to my Apache Server web folder and I try to view the pages in my browser and some of the images do not display. I contacted several people on my messenger and had them take a look and they have no problems either. When I view the pages and look at the problem pictures there is no red X and the only thing that is shown is the border that I have placed around the image. The 2 specific problems include a placed image on the page and an image that is generated from a URL that was placed on the page. This is one page which is showing both the problems. HOYLE BACK DOORS In my browser I can only see the border around the top image which was placed on the page, and below, where it shows the BoldChat image I can only see the text that I have placed and the image which is generated by a URL is not there.
    In the case of the top image this is how it is put in the page:
    <p align= "center "><img border= "4" SEC= "sponsoredbyhoyle.jpg" width= "160" height= "74 "></p>
    When I view the source on the BoldChat link the following is missing:
    <img alt= "Live chat by BoldChat" src= "http://cbi.boldchat.com/aid/6453526130656283629/bc.cbi" width= "133" height= "34" border= "0 ">
    which is in the coding when I copy it to the Apache web folder.
    However when someone else looks at it they can see everything including the img alt line. I hope someone has a suggestion.
    I removed the KB908531 update that was suggested in another thread but it didn't solve anything.
    Thanks

    Sfantasia--I do not know if this is helpful or not.
    I can see both images to which you refer. I gather your friends can, too.
    That would suggest there is nothing wrong with the coding, but rather a setting on your PC.
    Might the URL's for the source of the images be in your HOSTS file or Restricted sites, etc.?
    What happens when you Refresh or right click where the image should be and then Show Pictures?
    This reference is one of the standard responses to "Cannot see Images ".

    P.S. You have not told us the version of Windows you run. There are ways to repair IE, but they vary by Windows version.
    You could also consider a System Restore to a date before the problem started.
