Softwares are restricted from internet usage while connected

hi,

Recently i started to have problem with all my softwares on my windows XP. Softwares cannot access internet for updates or for completion of installation. I tried to diable windows firewall but no success, i dont have any antivirus installed.... I tried to use p2p software like limewire and frostwire but i got the same error message that "could not find the internet connection please make sure your computer is connected to internet "...

One thing i noticed is that only microsoft based applications can access internet and can update without problem.
My internet connection is fine i can browse in internet explorer but can't use mozilla now...

Any help would be really appreciated..

If you have a Router, check the ports:
