    Hey all,

I have a video card that i dont think is using all the ram it has.

When i paly games the game lags it slow . the game used to run better when i had an old crappy 32mb generic card.

My pc is pretty fast, i have an AMD XP 1800+ processor with 512 meg of ram

The video card has 64 megs of ram, its Nvidia GeForce 2 mx/mx400

i have the updated drivers but the game still is slow.

Does anyone know how to test to see if the card is acutally working properly?

I dont think the game is heavy on the grafics the game is motocross madness 2 .

SiSoft Sandra is probably what you need but I don't know if their freeware version will permit you to test or benchmark video. The professional version does, but a single user license will cost you something like $20.

There are also two slick little utilities that I'd recommend, both arestraight executables so you will need to make folders for them if you want to put them under Program Files.
First one is DC Genie. Website is
    http://www.inmatrix.com/
Second one is PCI list. It will look at more than just video and its website is
    http://www.entechtaiwan.com/

    Enjoy

    ;)
