Windows Vista software distribution

    Is it OK to delete:

    "windows software distribution event cache "

    and "windows software distribution download "

    Hi Judy. While you shouldn't delete the SoftwareDistribution folder you can delete the contents of the C:/Windows/SoftwareDistribution/Download folder. This folder is where windows downloads all of your windows updates to. If you have already installed all the windows updates for your system then you can delete the contents of the download folder. Don't delete the download folder itself though.
