On a number of occassions I have gotten an error message that Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) needed to close. This happens when there are a number of programs running, and I am moving back and forth between them. I cannot then switch between programs on the task bar.

I then need to use the Task Manager to switch between programs, but usually just shut them all down and reboot.
It may be that the common demonator is Dragon Naturally Speaking, V 10, but I can't be certain.

Has anyone else had Windows Explorer crash? Been able to determine the cause?

Easy test ... Disable "Dragon Naturally Speaking, V 10" from start up / systems tasks. Then do anything in "Explorer" you did previously that generally resulted in the problem your having. If no lock-ups, you have isolated the problem.
