i have a software that i can install it in Win 98 and XP
but i can't tell it to install in Win 2000
I got an error message saying that i cannot install the software
    then the installation process stopped.
Is there anyway that i can bypass the software check?

I never tried this on the installing program before, but you can make a shortcut to whatever program you are trying to run and right-click it and go to compatibility and choose something.

Someone else may have a better idea and yell at me for suggesting this but, hey it's here.

    1. What software
    2. Exactly what is the whole error
    3. Anything interesting in the event logs after a failure
