    Thankyou Tony for your very helpful input. I use Zone Alarm Pro as a firewall. Can i assume that ZAP does not yet have the ability to "add a firewall rule ".
    Forgive my ignorance, but what is the Ultima Online Service.

    It's an on-line gaming site. Take a look at http://www.origin.ea.com/ for details.

    If possible, easier for you to reply to your original topic for additional comments/questions.

    And you can for sure configure Zone Alarm Pro to allow traffic that you want to let in. If you use the gaming site, their tech support can probably tell you exactly how to set up any of the major firewall products to allow traffic necessary for their product.
