Smiley drop down menu

Ramona,

Sometime ago, I asked for some help about the Smiley menu issue for a friend.

Today I had the opportunity to take a look at her PC and I am back to the same question.

She is using the same version of Netscape that I am (7.1) and when composing a message she has all of the options such as fonts, underline, bullets, etc. but NO little icon with the drop down menu for smiley faces. She can insert one the same as I can from the Insert button on the File Menu.

Any ideas? Shouldn't it standard on all Netscape V.7.1?

In regard to my original question and your answer I ran a test and unchecked the HTML button and when I did that I had NO Formatting Toolbar at all?

Hi vegaspat,

With your cursor, grab the corner of the Mail Compose page, and enlarge the window, or else use the "Maximize" button in the upper right hand corner of the Compose Window.

I'm pretty sure I tried that, thinking it was just out of view.

I will try again as soon as I can get out there.
