smaller icons in thumbnail view

I am new to XP and have XP pro SP2 installed on a Dell Optiplex. When I select a thumbnail view I wish the icons were a smaller size as they are in Window 98SE when I use the vueicon program, is there a way to make them smaller, I tried to use the Vueicon program in XP but it did not work.

Here's a google hit list with a few choices of methods for changing the thumbnail size. If you have tweakui you may wish to use that method but there is also a manual registry tweak you can use if your comfortable doing this. The choice is yours and any of the first five or so google topics on the list should get the job done for you.
