Not sure when this started but I suspect it was when I upgraded Firefox to 3.5.5.

I, for instance,am reviewing my credit card transactions and when I do a print a small window appears at the upper left corner of the screen.

Then sometimes I attempt to open a different web site while viewing another one. It seems that nothing is happening and then I notice that there is a small window sitting in the upper right corner.

This is on both my XP and Vista PC. This morning on the XP I was starting Spybot up and was also trying to open Firefox. I kept clicking on the FF icon and then I noticed that the small FF window was at the top of the screen.

This is are recent issue and don't think I've changed any FF settings under Options.

    Thanks.

I see small windows on the upper left, instead, occasionally, and not only with FF3.5.5, but they, never reoccur. By small, I mean about one square inch.
I found out, more and more that Firefox, as well as Seamonkey have problems opening in the same window. I, routinely, do File|New Tab, and open another site in another Tab (I prefer not to open tabs by changing my options|tab). At times, I have had to reload pages, but nothing, ever, showed up in small windows (except in rare cases, as I mentioned before). As for bank sites, they open another, smaller, popup, but not a tiny window, which allows me to print a copy of the transaction. You should not click on the shortcut without checking the task manager|processes for firefox.exe. I takes me a long time to load the program, so I wait.

    Thanks.

I'm going to start documenting exactly which sites besides my Discover site have this issue.

    Appreciate your response.
