I am looking for an inkjet printer with a small footprint. No scanner required, probably won't use it as a photo printer, just a basic good printer that will be used on a small desk. Any suggestions would be welcomed. THANKS!

When you go to any of the many printer makers web sites and or local retailer do you see anything close to what you are looking for?

    Canon Pixma ip90

The Canon Pixma ip90 is about the right size but because it's touted as a mobile printer it's about $300. Cheaper is better.

Weight is not a factor as it will be sitting on a desk and not mobile.

    Thanks

    Hi, IceWine. :)

It appears you have three requirements: (1): good (2): small and (3): "cheaper is better "

I found a printer at Newegg (also a "mobile printer ") that fits at least two of those requirements.
    • Size: 13.4" x 7.27" x 3.17 "
    • Price: currently on sale for $239.99 with free 3-day shipping (and it's certainly cheaper than $300) :)
I cannot provide my own opinions about your third requirement (how "good" the printer is). I have never used that model (although I tend to be satisifed with my HP brand printers). I think all my printers are too large for your requirements, however. Newegg's products are usually rated by people who enter their opinions online.

(I am not affiliated with Newegg. I am only a customer who has always been satisfied with their prices and fast shipping.)

If $239.99 still too expensive, then I suspect you might be in for some time-consuming shopping. "Good ", "small ", and "very inexpensive" might be mutually exclusive qualities for a printer.

    Looks great

This printer looks great! Cartridges aren't too expensive, either, which is a bonus. Now if Newegg ships to Canada I'm all set....

Thanks for the info - I really appreciate your research.
