Currently setting up SBS 2003 with Xchange on a peer to peer network with about 6 users.

I'm having some issues with maintaining the local user profiles on the client machines when I configue them on the new server. It seems to create new profiles each time and lose all the client settings. Do I just copy the user profiles to maintain the settings, or rename them after the fact? What else could I do?

Also, it is now taking an really long time (3-4 minutes) for the client machines to logon. Any suggestions for what might be up?

    Thanks in advance!

I don't think you can run SBS in a peer to peer. It has to be a Client/Server (Domain) enviroment.

As far as speeding up the logon list your SBS server as the first name server in DHCP and the logons will go from 3 min. to 15 seconds or faster!

Sorry - I'm migrating from a peer to peer to client/server.

    I'll try that in DHCP.
    Thanks!
