    Hi my computer slowly got a bit sluggish of late so im not sure of whats going on so i thought i'd post my hijack log for someone to have a peek and see if anythings in there that shouldn't :confused: thanx 4 any help :D

    Please download the latest version 1.99.1 of HijackThis.exe from here, over-writing the one you currently have, then post a new HijackThis log.

    Have you already run Ad-aware and Spybot, or some other spyware/adware/malware removal tool, or done an online virus scan?

    Scan again with HijackThis and fix the following entries.

    O4 - Startup: PowerReg Scheduler.exe
    O16 - DPF: {15AD6789-CDB4-47E1-A9DA-992EE8E6BAD6} - http://static.windupdates.com/cab/M...e/bridge-c6.cab

    Reboot.

    Search the drive for and delete all instances of the following files and folder.

    powerreg scheduler.exe
    powerreg schedulerv2.exe
    powerregschedulerv3.exe
    powerreg

    See the following link for a list of files and directories to delete if present.

    Search for and delete the following file if present also.

    MediaGatewayX.dll

    Open My Computer, right click Local Disk C: and select Properties, then disk cleanup. Check all boxes and click OK.

    Make sure you have the latest version of Ad-aware, SE Personal 1.06, check for updates and run in full scan mode. Fix everything it finds.

    Reboot again and post a new hijackThis log. Let us know how your PC is behaving.

    Hi again . i did as u suggested i also downloaded cw shredder and performed that as well and did a online scan with etrust . and ran my norton anti virus programe too , i also did a defrag .My computer seems ok as in the mouse pointer is not so low in moving but the windows seem to open a little slower as when i click on a link to open them . i can live with a that i suppose as my pc is 7 yrs old and has a bit of stuff on it .anyway heres my new log and thanx again for ur help :) cheers
