    Hi
Since upgrading to SP2 ( another story ) i am getting very slow download speeds on my dsl broadband connection approx 10kps instead of 50kps or more this has only happened since upgrading to SP2, it also appears to take longer for pages to open, i am using an Alcatel 330 speedtouch dsl modem .
    I am also using zonealarm v 5.1.011.
Any help would be welcome please.

I have no problems with (BT) broadband after installing SP 2 RTM - connected at 576 Kbps with download speeds of up to 60/80 - the odd site is down in the 10/20 range. I have the BT (Thompson) Speedtouch 330 modem.

I must point out that I was running SP 2 RC 2 when I upgraded to broadband.

Have you tried a re-install of the software, checked for new modem drivers, spoken with your ISP?

    Back up to speed

It must have been my Isp as i am downloading at 50k + again the isp i use has a bad tec support line 25min+ and no answer so i don't ring them very often.
I seem to be blameing SP2 for everything at the moment ( the car not starting, the rain ect. )
many thanks for your interest PeteC it's nice to see us Brits can still talk across the great north south divide ( I'm south of watford )

    regards alboy

When I lived down South - Epsom, the general view was that the world ended north of Watford :D It doesn't!
